Dallas Institute of Humanities Masterplan

The Dallas Institute of Humanities invited Sanga Architecture to reimagine their campus located on 3 adjacent linear lots. Inspired by the intimate park qualities of the existing setting, the proposed expansion enhances this relationship while encouraging engagement with the community. Envisioning the landscape and interior as a shared experience, a cross-cut through an outdated addition and a new L-shaped building create a courtyard scheme with sightlines across the property. Lively connections between classrooms, larger event spaces, and offices create a cohesive campus feel.
